Do you manufacture the products yourself?
Yes, we are a workshop that finishes your cushions with the utmost care. You have direct contact with the manufacturer, which is a serious advantage over resellers. Moreover, it also guarantees you receive the best price for high quality. Want to check the fabrics before buying? That's wise and even advised. We'd be happy to send you some free fabric samples.
How can I order?
Very simple. You can compose your own cushions via the webshop. Feel free to experiment with different compositions, the price will be shown immediately. We are very transparent about our prices. Found what you want? Then just finalise your order and pay safely through Paypal, VISA, MasterCard, etc.
Can I place a trial order?
You can, but there is a small risk involved. Fabric manufacturers sometimes change their collections and if you wait too long to order, you may no longer find the fabric in our collection. There may also be slight colour variations between different rolls of the same colour shade. Normally, this is not noticeable, but if the cushions are placed side by side, it may be. Please also inform us if you are making a trial order. We only deliver handmade cushions, which means that there can sometimes be slight differences between cushions from other orders. However, if we know there may be another one coming, we record the production process on film, so that you can be sure of getting the same finish.
I found cheaper cushions elsewhere. How is this possible?
We are always interested in such cases. As a rule, it is extremely difficult to find the same quality custom-made products, both in terms of finish and in terms of raw materials, at a more competitive price. There are no intermediaries between you and the manufacturer (i.e. us). The difference is often due to cheaper, but unfortunately also inferior fabrics or fillings. The finishing can also make a big difference. On the outside it may look the same, but has the inside been finished against fraying for example? After a few washes, you might end up with serious fraying and even loose seams. Found the same product at a cheaper price? Please let us know, because we would also like to know more about it ourselves.
What about the quality of the articles?
We only rely on raw materials of the highest quality for our products. Because we manufacture everything in-house, we are able to meet the highest possible quality requirements. And we are very demanding: we do not sell anything that we would not want ourselves. With us, you pay for the product, not for the name! Add to that our rock-solid guarantee and you can be confident at all times.
Are your cushions washable?
Yes, they are. All our covers, with the exception of synthetic leather, are perfectly machine washable.
Are the cushions provided with a zip?
Yes, all the covers we make have a zip. Very handy if you want to wash them or change the filling. However, if you bought the foam on our website, you should be good for at least 10 years. Even our cheapest foams are in general better than when you buy wholesale.
Are the colours on the site the same as the ones I will receive?
No, it depends on the colour settings of your screen. In fact, on your tablet the colour may look different than on your screen. That is why we recommend to request fabric samples in advance. We will be happy to send them to you free of charge. There may also be slight colour variations between different rolls of the same colour shade. Just as with wallpaper, for example. However, this is hardly noticeable. But we always make sure that the same order comes from the same roll.
Can I see the products first?
No, you're ordering directly from the workshop and we have no stock of ready-made cushions. Unfortunately we do not have shops (yet). Feel free to check our inspiration page. Here we show images received from our clients. You can also request free fabric samples before ordering.
What is the difference between outdoor and indoor fabrics?
Outdoor cushions have higher standards for colourfastness because they are exposed to direct sunlight more often. Also, the requirements for water resistance are often higher and the standards for fire safety are slightly different. Indoor fabrics are also dirt- and water-repellent. They are usually also very soft, which also applies to outdoor fabrics, but some are just a little stiffer (Sunproof and Southend). As a rule, outdoor fabrics can always be used indoors, but not vice versa. You can find more information about our fabrics here.
Are your outdoor fabrics sufficiently colourfast?
Yes, that is why we are able to meet our strict 5-year warranty on colourfastness when exposed to sunlight. On the other hand, you will of course not find any cheap polyesters or dralon in our collection. Simply because they do not meet our quality requirements. We only work with fabrics that are made of solution dyed fabric fibres, which is the only guarantee for good colourfastness. You can find more information about our fabrics here.
I want to put a cushion by the window, should I use an indoor or outdoor fabric?
If your cushion is exposed to direct sunlight, we recommend outdoor fabrics. Rio or Sunbrella are particularly suitable here. These manufacturers focus hard on fabrics that are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, resulting in a very soft surface that is also particularly colourfast. What is the difference between polyether, high resilience foam and quick dry foam?
As with fabrics, the quality of the filling should depend on the use of the cushion. For seat cushions, we offer polyether, high resilience and Quick Dry foam. In general, our quality is already far superior to what you can find in shops. We use fillings that you also find in high-quality mattresses. As a rule, polyether is sufficient for use in the garden, but for cushions that you really use more often on a daily basis, you ‘d better opt for high resilience foam. Then there is Quick Dry Foam (QDF). This is a filling with an open cell structure, especially for cushions that are left outside in all weathers. And we really do mean constantly outside, because in general our fabrics are sufficiently water-resistant to withstand a spring or summer shower. Only when it is pouring rain you should take them inside. Attention: the open cell structure of QDF ensures that your filling feels a little less solid. In this case, we always recommend a minimum thickness of 6 cm.
What do these numbers next to the foam mean?
We like to be clear and mention the exact quality of the foams instead of indications such as light, moderate or heavy use. The figures refer to the weight per cubic metre, but often also to the firmness of the cushion. Thus, high resilience foam HR55 will be firmer on limited thicknesses (recommended from cushions with a thickness of at least 4 cm) than HR45 (recommended from a thickness of at least 5 cm). However, make sure that you do not take cushions that are too robust. From 10 cm, we recommend HR45, because then HR55 becomes very hard again. The same goes for polyether SG30 and SG40. My filling is still fine, can I order just the cover?
Yes, you can. When you are composing your cushion, just tick 'cover only' instead of your filling. It's as simple as that.
Can I just buy or order extra foam?
Yes, you can. Soon you will be able to do that online, but for now you will have to do it by e-mail or through the notice you can leave at the end of your order.

Can I supply my own fabric?
That is unfortunately not possible at the moment.
I need a cushion with a special shape. Is that possible?
Normally it is. Our site contains a selection of the most common shapes only. Please contact us when you have a special desire. If you can draw your cushion exactly, we can usually make it perfectly. Of course, we do need the correct dimensions. So, adding a drawing to your e-mail is always useful.

How can I pay?
Safe and simple. Mollie is our payment partner. They allow you to pay with VISA, Mastercard and Paypal. These are all payment methods that offer you protection as a customer. If we should not deliver (which will never happen!), you get your money back with a simple request. We also support more traditional payment methods, such as bank transfer.

Do I get a discount as a company?
We charge our lowest prices for custom work on our site. And customisation for a private individual is just as time-consuming as for a company. Therefore, unless a lower quality is explicitly requested (e.g. fabrics or fillings that do not last as long because they are used only once at a fair), the price cannot be lowered. For series starting from 20 of exactly the same models, there are possibilities. In that case, please contact us.
I own a company and I want to offer your cushions. Is this possible?
Yes, you can. You can even use your own label, other fabrics, fillings, etc. Feel free to contact us for more information.
How fast can you deliver?
In 95% of cases, we deliver within 15 working days (in general 3 weeks). If it can be done quicker, we will not hesitate to send it. Sometimes it can take a bit longer because a fabric was out of stock, or because the shipment was delayed, but we will let you know. You can of course check your order status at any time. Do take into account that we are closed between Christmas and New Year and during the last week of July and the first week of August. This does extend the delivery time of order placed right before this period.
What are the shipping costs?
We are very clear about that too. You will always see it in your order basket. This price is all-inclusive. No hidden costs.
How are the products shipped?
All our products are packaged in a reinforced foil specially developed for us. The products are carefully checked several times during the production process. Cushions longer than 150 cm have to be shipped folded due to parcel restrictions. We therefore recommend unpacking the cushions as quickly as possible, laying them flat and using them as much as possible. Your cushions will always return to their original shape. In the rare event that your cushions do get damaged during transport, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Are longer cushions also shipped?
This is possible, but keep in mind that they will be shipped folded. This will not affect the quality of your cushions, but your cushion may seem a little shorter at first due to this shipping. However, this will turn out to be perfectly fine. The best approach here is to lay the cushion flat and use it immediately. After a short time, the cushion will return to its original shape without any problems.
How are deliveries handled?
We collaborate with DPD, which allows you to follow your shipment perfectly and change the delivery address if necessary.
Can I change my delivery address?
It depends. If you paid with VISA, Mastercard or PayPal, then these companies require us to deliver to the address provided. However, we deliver with DPD and they allow you to have your order delivered to a pickup point or an alternative address. You can easily set this up for your address on the website of DPD. If you ordered as a company with your VAT number, we also have to deliver to your registered office. Otherwise, you can still change your address.
What happens if I am not at home?
DPD offers the delivery at least once. After that, however, you can still pick up your order at a local pickup point for at least 7 days. If you know in advance that you will not be at home, you can also use the DPD website to arrange for the delivery to be sent to your neighbour or to a safe place.
My order was not delivered complete. What now?
Since the shipping services have rather strict size limits, we sometimes have to split the order into several packages. Don't worry, the rest will usually follow the next day. However, if you still haven’t received anything after a few days, be sure to contact us. We will then immediately look into the matter.
There are wrinkles in my cushion after delivery. What can I do about it?
Cushions are natural soft materials, so some wrinkles are possible. Especially with the thin, long cushions. Large cushions also often have to be shipped folded (>150 cm long), so you may indeed have some wrinkles initially. However, these will disappear by themselves. Our advice is to use the cushion a lot to speed up this process.
Do I have a warranty on my products?
Yes, we offer guarantee. We only work with the best materials and only sell what we ourselves would like. And believe us, we are demanding! That's why you get a lifetime warranty on zips and seams and on top of that a 5-year colour warranty on outdoor fabrics exposed to sunlight. We are certain that your cushions will not fade after a few years.
How do I check the status of my order?
If you order in the webshop, you will receive an order confirmation. If you have paid for the ordered products, we will manufacture the products. When your order has been offered to the transport company, you will receive an email containing all the information. Your order will normally be delivered to you within 15 working days. If the delivery time is longer due to an unexpected large amount of orders, the most accurate delivery time will be mentioned on the site and in your order overview at that point.
What is your laundry and repair service for businesses?
The first two years, we offer a free laundry service for businesses. You send us the covers in February, we wash them and give them a new water-repellent treatment. We return them to you free of charge. A cigarette burn or someone who wanted to test whether he could stab through your cushion with his steak knife? We can fix that. In that case, we will give you a quote beforehand, so that you can decide whether we can repair it or not. After two years, you can also opt for a subscription to this service.
